Not that they come alive in her; it is her who lives in them

Noticing her family’s proclivity for accumulating collecting, Which the designer says verges on hoarding, prompted this collection. Elodie researched the psychological side of hoarding. She came to treasure how communicative collecting is as it answers questions about ourselves while projecting our identity to others. Her collection uses print designs she created from her collection of fruit stickers with sexual innuendo. To emphasise the theatrics of creating a whole new universe, Elodie created headpieces which together with the designs translate to soft but loud silhouettes as well perpetual layering and the avoidance of empty space.
