iD Dunedin collaborated with the Otago Polytechnic to develop a new award for The 2024 MLT Hokonui Fashion Design Awards.

The Otago Polytechnic iD Dunedin Sustainable Excellence Award was awarded to May Dyson, Homeschooled, Tuatapere. May will show her garment at the 2025 iD Dunedin Fashion Show along with 15 other high school designers from around New Zealand.
