Tanya Carlson’s love of traditional menswear collides with bold florals, sequined event wear and feminine pastel hues this season in a celebration of her favourite decades and the fashion that informed them.

Classic pinstriped suiting and oversized coats take their lead from menswear across the decades, while off-duty bespoke floral prints and sparkling jumpsuits evoke dreams of late night disco, smoky lounge bars where psychedelic flower prints cover walls and full colour photographs in magazines. Semi-tailored silhouettes from the 30s and 40s meets the power suiting of the late 80s, cinched in waistlines of the 80s meets 70s collars and detailing.

Energetic and compelling, while effortlessly sophisticated, every garment in the collection is made to be worn and cherished – an ideology Carlson has built her 25-year label on, creating carefully considered garments proudly made in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
