COLLECTION: The Nature of Mercury

Design – seriously unserious. It contradicts itself – irreverence holding hands with tradition. Tailoring dictates an understanding of the box we live in, but the applications of it shatter the box entirely, simultaneously navigating the conventional and the unconventional. 

But above all, The Nature of Mercury tells a story – the power of unique perspective, conceptual reference, and lived experience contextualising and communicating in an editorial space.  It details a metamorphic creature as they adapt to survive different groups of perpetrators, how the minority adapts to survive the majority by exploiting their features to blend in. Stored in the subconscious and reflected in the self, it explores the parallels between the animal kingdom and the human kingdom, between animalistic intelligence and artificial intelligence.
