The Classic of Mountains and Seas

Men’s streetwear meets Chinese mythology in Erika Ryuu’s ‘The Classic of Mountains and Seas’.

Based on a book of the same title, the highly visual text covers everything from ancient Chinese geographic records, mythology, witchery and folk customs.

Erika has interwoven these themes into her collection with her choice of colour, fabric, embroidery, print and silhouette. Translucent organza features alongside denim, faux fur, leather and suiting, with unconventional silhouettes in a colour palette inspired by landscapes.

This collection seeks to push the boundaries of streetwear.
