In partnership with iD Fashion Jeanne Dubois, museum guide from Christian Dior Museum, will give a talk from France.
This presentation will share about Christian Dior’s story and his global vision of the women in Dior, inspired by Christian Dior’s preserved childhood in Normandy, the gardens and his superstitious personality. Sketches and dresses from the museum will be shown, as well as textiles research and collaborations to create new silhouettes that will spread to the international.
This event is following the talk “Christian Dior’s story from Normandy to the world” presented by Jeanne during the previous iD Dunedin Fashion Event in April 2024.
This is a unique opportunity in Aotearoa New Zealand to see insights of the exhibition Christian Dior, visionary designer showcased in Christian Dior Museum in 2024 in Normandy.
