iD Guests Announced

iD are excited to introduce celebrated New Zealand designer Juliette Hogan to both the catwalk and the judging panel this year. Juliette Hogan has retail stores in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and is stocked in high end boutiques across the motu. She is dedicated to fostering sustainability within the fashion industry and is a founder and Chair of Mindful Fashion NZ.

2025 marks 21 years in the industry for Juliette, who will show her 2025.ONE + TWO collection.

Dr Margo Barton, iD board Co-chair looks forward to welcoming Juliette into the fold;

‘We are thrilled to have Juliette Hogan showing her collection and as a guest judge this year. Juliette has set a gold standard for elevated simplicity, expert tailoring and a great dedication to promoting sustainable practices both in her brand as well as more widely in Aotearoa through Mindful Fashion New Zealand.’

 The expert panel of judges will also include NOM*d’s Margarita Robertson, iD board member and Paper Theory founder Tara Viggo, Dan Ahwa (Fashion Director Viva Magazine/NZ Herald) and Kowtow Head Designer Dayne Johnston, along with head judge and longtime iD collaborator, designer Tanya Carlson.

Dayne Johnston is one of Aotearoa's leading fashion designers and comes with unique atelier experience. Being a menswear specialist, his fresh perspective is inspiring. He started at Kowtow in the role of Head Designer in 2023 and his much anticipated first collection for Kowtow will be released in early 2025.

Dan Ahwa is a respected New Zealand-based creative director, journalist, and stylist and is the creative and fashion director for award-winning fashion and lifestyle brand Viva as part of The New Zealand Herald. He is on the advisory of New Zealand Fashion Week and also served as a board trustee for The New Zealand Fashion Museum and Mindful Fashion New Zealand. His written and styling work has featured in a range of publications both locally and internationally, from British Vogue and Vogue Australia to Esquire and Fashion Quarterly.

Zambesi - Back by Popular Demand

The iD team are thrilled to share that iconic New Zealand label Zambesi will take to the runway again this year, with another show-stopping full collection. Launched in 1979 by Elisabeth and Neville Findlay, the internationally acclaimed label is a perennial exemplar of cutting-edge fashion in Aotearoa. The brand is a firm favourite in fashion circles and is known for its directional yet highly wearable pieces, cross-generational devotees and inventive use of fabrics.

iD Fashion Event Manager Victoria Muir says ‘We are thrilled to welcome NZ fashion royalty Zambesi back to the iD catwalk this year. They are always a major highlight and we can’t wait to see their Winter collection’.
