[GEN. A] TRANS-SEASONAL 2018

Inspired by the films Interstellar and Passengers which depict the search for a new world to replace a dying Planet Earth, this collection conveys the concept of humans’ instinct of survival and the importance of nature. The Avant-garde and wearable designs from the collection incorporates sustainable fashion practices, such as upcycling fabrics, and seeks to remind wearers of the main purpose of clothing – as protection – in order to minimise the over consumption. A mash-up of elements from sportswear, spacesuits and army uniforms combine in a sporty, linear and futuristic aesthetic, with a minimal colour palette. [gen.α] Trans-seasonal 2018 represents conceptual utilitarian clothing in a harmonious and well balanced future.
