iD International Emerging Designer Awards Entries Now Open

Applications for the iD International Emerging Designer Awards 2025, in partnership with the Otago Polytechnic, are now open.  

The iD Awards was launched in 2005 and now attracts designers from all over the world, as finalists travel to Dunedin, New Zealand, with the opportunity to learn, collaborate and connect during the iD Dunedin Fashion Week. The iD Awards enables the future of sustainable fashion design to be showcased to fellow emerging designers, the jury of fashion professionals and a wider public audience. 

To enter you must be studying fashion/ textile design or have graduated within the last seven years. There are no design restrictions, sections or specifications for collections, other than an emphasis on innovation, originality, creativity, quality and sustainability.  

If you are selected as a finalist you must attend the event in Dunedin, New Zealand from 1 – 6 April 2025. Travel expenses are at your own cost.

Entries open - Monday 20 May 2024
Entries close – Friday 29 November 2024
Finalists announced – Friday 6 December 2024
iD Awards Judging Day, Dunedin – Wednesday 2 April 2025
iD Awards presentation at the iD Dunedin Fashion Show – Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April
Finalists to depart Dunedin – Sunday 6 April

If you have read all the information and have your Collection Statement, Design Influence, Sustainability Statement, Natural Luxury with Wool Statement (if applicable) and your multi page collection pdf then you are ready to enter.
